Notification types
With ChemMeta notifications, it's easier than ever to stay up-to-date with the latest changes in the peer-reviewed scientific literature investigating chemicals of interest. Simply pick a chemical portfolio, set your notification criteria, and ChemMeta will send you custom notifications in-app or, if you choose, by email every time ChemMeta content is updated.
A notification icon (1) alerts you of unread notifications. Clicking on the icon opens up a window displaying notifications for the selected portfolio (2) by content release date (3).
You can receive notifications about changes in general acceptance scores (4), newly added hypotheses (5), and newly added articles (6). Each notification type lists up to three items. Clicking on View More (7) allows you to see additional items. Clicking on Archive (8) allows you to review notifications posted from previous content updates.
Notification Settings
You can set notification criteria for each portfolio of interest by clicking on Settings (9). First, select your portfolio (10). If you want, click on Set as Default (11) so that this portfolio is automatically loaded each time you visit in-app notifications. You can also choose here whether to receive notifications for this portfolio by email (12).
Changes in general acceptance score
Click the box next to "Changes in general acceptance score" (13) to receive notifications about changes in general acceptance scores for hypotheses of interest. You can set notifications by the absolute change in the general acceptance score since the last release and by whether the general acceptance score has passed a specified threshold. You will receive notifications of changes in general acceptance scores if either criterion is met.
Newly added hypotheses
Click the box next to "Newly added hypotheses" (14) to receive notifications about newly added hypotheses of bodily injury for the selected portfolio.
Newly added articles
Click the box next to "Newly added articles" (15) to receive notifications about publications that have been added to ChemMeta investigating chemicals in the selected portfolio. You can limit notifications to articles that meet your criteria for article relevance, influence, outcome, and subject.
Notification conditions
Notifications are defined at the level of the hypothesis. In the "Notify me under these conditions" (16) section, you can set criteria for which hypotheses within your portfolio will trigger notifications. You can limit hypotheses by their current general acceptance score, the general acceptance confidence score, and whether the hypothesis has been certified by a human analyst.
Save
Don't forget to Save (17) your notification settings for the portfolio when you're done. You'll receive notifications according to your criteria the next time ChemMeta content is updated.
