Updated Litagion agents based on newly published science
In this release, all Litagion agent profiles have been updated to reflect the most recently published peer-reviewed science. Notable scientific studies added since the last CoMeta release include:
- Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP): A meta-analysis strengthens the association between DEHP exposure via dust and asthma in children.
- Chlorpyrifos: A study at a fertility center found high chlorpyrifos levels in women are associated with low reproductive health benchmarks.
The addition of newly-published peer-reviewed science resulted in the following categorical changes to general causation risk and overall Litagion agent risk:
Litagion agent | Risk category change | Overall risk change |
---|---|---|
Bisphenol AF | Dynamics (general causation risk projection) changed from Low risk (dark green) to Medium risk (yellow) | Low risk (dark green) to Medium-low risk (light green) |
Tris(1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TCDPP) | Dynamics (general causation risk projection) changed from Medium-low risk (light green) to Medium risk (yellow) | No change |
